Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kerry William (ranked 25308 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 6240 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Power.

It looks like Kerry William has been cut.
Power keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Power throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. William was covering up waiting for the punch and Power finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Power advances position into side control!
Power remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Power is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. William knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Power unloads with some vicious shots from mount and William wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Power celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
