And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Starman!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Starman was well out of range. Poor timing from Duffy.
Starman looks for a takedown but Duffy sprawls well.
John Starman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Starman fails with the takedown.
Duffy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Duffy really is a fat lump.
Starman avoids the head kick by Duffy.

Starman drives through with a takedown into Duffy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Starman content to stall in guard here.
Duffy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Duffy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Starman is controlling him.

Duffy has hold of Starman's hands but Starman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Duffy is looking to control Starman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duffy avoid being mounted?
Duffy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Starman drops an elbow to the side of Duffy's head.

Starman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duffy is just riding it out for now. Starman eventually gives up the hold.
Duffy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Duffy has hold of Starman's hands but Starman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Starman scores with a big shot! Duffy's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Duffy! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
