Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nilo Putsok (ranked 7534 p4p, 661 weight class) and Dadhri Senchai (ranked 23440 p4p, 805 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nilo Putsok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dadhri Senchai!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Putsok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Putsok in particular looking to stall.
Senchai is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Putsok is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Senchai defends it well.
Putsok with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Senchai is looking to improve his position.
Putsok is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Senchai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Putsok. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Putsok decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Putsok throws a head kick that misses.

Putsok moves into range and clinches up with Senchai.

Putsok has hold of one of Senchai's legs. Senchai is fighting the takedown attempt but Putsok gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Putsok controlling from the top position.

Putsok thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Putsok wants to pass the guard but Senchai is keeping the position.

Senchai is working an open guard so Putsok takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A combination from Senchai does no damage.

Putsok looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Putsok works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Senchai is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Putsok seems content to control.
Senchai wants to control but Putsok is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Putsok is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Senchai defends it well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Putsok looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Senchai with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Putsok perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Putsok in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Senchai tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Putsok!
