Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eidur Davidson!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson shoots for a double leg takedown but Wilson sprawls well. He's pushed Davidson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wilson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Davidson - the referee stops the clock and Wilson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Davidson. Wilson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Wilson counters with a leg kick.

Wilson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davidson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Davidson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ralph Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eidur Davidson.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wilson.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wilson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wilson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wilson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Horrible takedown attempt by Davidson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wilson, which made it look bad.
Wilson feinted with a counter takedown.

Wilson wants to take the fight to the mat but Davidson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

so Wilson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Davidson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Davidson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wilson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Davidson wants to stand up but Wilson is controlling him.

Davidson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Davidson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Eidur Davidson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
