The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sands Jr fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Venator cracks Sands Jr with a good jab.
Venator connects with a body shot that sends Sands Jr's belly button to the back.
Sands Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Venator counters with a nice uppercut.
A combination from Venator does no damage.
Venator lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've been told by Sands Jr's head coaches at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches - $300/Week that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sands Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Venator is fending him off so far but Sands Jr persists. Nope, Venator circles away and we're back to standing.
Venator looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Sands Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bobby Sands Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm very upset that the Referee did not see my opponent grope my balls several times and slip his index finger in to my asshole! I mean, how can a guy concentrate on the task at hand, if he is getting his balls and asshole stimulated???'.
