Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bjarni Agnarsson (ranked 2867 p4p, 339 weight class) and Hannibal Lecter (ranked 773 p4p, 102 weight class). Agnarsson comes into the arena with Black Pearl blaring out of the sound system. Lecter has chosen The Hannibal Lecter Sonr as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Agnarsson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

I was talking to Agnarsson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Agnarsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lecter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Agnarsson has managed to get both his arms back between Lecter's legs - danger averted.

Lecter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Agnarsson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lecter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Agnarsson on the side of the head.

Lecter might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
