The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Davies shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alligator only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Davies misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alligator.
Alligator avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Alligator! But no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Davies. Those never looked like landing.
A countering left hand to the body from Alligator misses.
Alligator swats away the attempt to clinch by Davies.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alligator swats him away and circles back towards the center.
