The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroev fails to land with a series of punches.
Stroev has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Victor Stroev has been cut.
Victor Stroev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Stroev tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Stroev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jackson explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Jackson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Stroev is retaining full guard.

Stroev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stroev tries to get out of the position.
