Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kari Grandi (ranked 6168 p4p, 582 weight class) and Kranc Limak (ranked 6042 p4p, 618 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Limak gets the takedown into side control.
Grandi is looking for a sweep.
Grandi wants to control but Limak postures up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Grandi moves in looking to clinch but Limak pushes him off.

Limak throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grandi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Limak is in Grandi's guard.

Kranc Limak has got the better of the ground game so far.
Grandi regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Limak.
Grandi is working an open guard so Limak takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Limak has closed the distance and engaged Grandi in a clinch.
Grandi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Limak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Limak is pressed up against the cage. Grandi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Limak down to the mat. Limak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Limak is working for a kimura here but Grandi manages to reverse the position and he's now in Limak's guard.

Limak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Grandi is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kranc Limak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Limak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grandi manages to avoid it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Limak.

Kranc Limak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Limak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
