Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antwan Carr (ranked 25429 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lewis (ranked 5876 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Lewis !
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis has Carr up against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis avoiding damage as Carr throws knees to the body.
Lewis swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Lewis lands a takedown into guard.
Lewis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Carr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Carr is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lewis controlling from the top position.

Lewis passes Carr's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Carr wants to get back to his feet.
Carr really is a fat lump.
Lewis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Carr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lewis pulls his head out easily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lewis lands a nice short elbow.

Carr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Carr tries to kick Lewis off but Lewis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Carr tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lewis has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Lewis 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Carr is trying desperately to improve position.
Lewis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Carr can't escape the position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Lewis dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lewis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lewis winds up and cracks Carr with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Still in half guard, Lewis seems content to control.

Lewis working over Carr with some ground and pound. Carr looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Lewis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Carr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Still in half guard, Lewis seems content to control.
Lewis winds up and cracks Carr with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lewis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Lewis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lewis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Carr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Lewis is taking a breather. Carr says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lewis is working for a kimura but Carr is defending it quite comfortably.
Lewis is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lewis slips a nice elbow through Carr's hands, connecting with Carr's forehead.
Lewis moves nicely into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Carr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Carr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lewis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lewis is continuing to stall.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Carr is looking for a triangle but Lewis pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis slips nicely into half guard.
Lewis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Well, if Lewis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lewis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lewis is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Lewis is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Carr to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lewis lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Johnny Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lewis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
