Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyros Aigaios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ory Caan!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caan loads up on a big right hand but Aigaios slips the punch.
Caan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Caan moves in looking to clinch but Aigaios pushes him off.
Caan needs to keep his hands up - Aigaios had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Ory Caan has been cut.
Aigaios throws out a powerful jab.
Nice jab there from Caan.
Caan throws the left hand but Aigaios avoids the punch easily.
Aigaios moves out of range of the strikes.
Aigaios uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Caan.
Aigaios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Caan tries to clinch but Aigaios is having none of it.
Caan missing with a left hand there. Aigaios was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Aigaios appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kyros Aigaios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aigaios scores with a jab to the body.
Aigaios throws a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Caan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Aigaios throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Caan's head.
Aigaios lands a slapping body shot.
Aigaios shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Aigaios dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Caan looks winded!
Caan avoids the head kick by Aigaios.
Aigaios lands a really nice looking cross but Caan seems unphased.
Caan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Aigaios.
Aigaios drops his hands momentarily and Caan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Aigaios throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Aigaios walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Caan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Aigaios swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Caan's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyros Aigaios!
A very excited looking Kyros Aigaios made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
