Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rubin French (ranked 25778 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Harrison (ranked 8168 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rubin French!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Harrison!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French lands a head kick. Harrison smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
French connects with a high kick.

French gets caught flat footed, as Harrison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harrison not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like Harrison might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
French wants to get back to his feet but Harrison is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
French can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Harrison controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Harrison is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in French's half guard.
Well, if Harrison is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Harrison lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Harrison's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
French is looking for a sweep. Harrison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

French is breathing heavily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harrison darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Harrison in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harrison looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harrison content to control rather than advance.

Harrison wants to pass the guard but French is defending well.
Harrison performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

French really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
French wants to control but Harrison is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Harrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

French wriggles free and stands up.

Harrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Harrison lands in his opponent's guard.
French wants to get back to his feet but Harrison passes into half guard.


French is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh French is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harrison content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harrison seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Harrison has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can French defend it? Harrison steps over the head and cranks it - French is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Harrison!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dylan Harrison!
