The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cranial steps to the side to avoid the strikes from John.
Cranial bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Still in the clinch, Cranial scores with a nice short uppercut.

Cranial cracks John with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

John fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cranial, pushing him back against the cage.
John lands an elbow inside that Cranial shrugs off.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
John is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
John misses with the head strike.
John lands with a short shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cranial uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by John.
Cranial lands a jab to John's midsection.

John digs a right hand into Cranial's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cranial's gas tank.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cranial's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

John lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
John has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

John throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cranial stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
John tries to close the distance and clinch but Cranial swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

John lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cranial's sensitive parts.

Scott John comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well John has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
