The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Aldo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Qwe is looking to counter punch.
Qwe closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Jose Aldo has been cut.
Aldo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Qwe lands a high kick!
Qwe misses with a head kick.
And Aldo tries to counter it with a takedown but Qwe pushes his down on his head and steps out.
No joy there for Aldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Qwe lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aldo.
Qwe tries a head kick but it misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aldo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Aldo finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Qwe's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Aldo falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
