Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Percy Schmeiser (ranked 2588 p4p, 325 weight class) and Fahad Al Qarni (ranked 1181 p4p, 161 weight class). Schmeiser's entrance music is David vs Monsanto. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Al Qarni's choice of entrance music: Hells Bells. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 4 losses; Percy Schmeiser! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 3 losses; Fahad Al Qarni!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

We've been hearing good reports from Schmeiser's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Al Qarni is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
Schmeiser takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
