The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thrower misses with a double jab.
Stalin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thrower sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stalin.
Stalin moves in looking to clinch but Thrower pushes him off.
Thrower has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stalin is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Thrower counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Joe Stalin has been cut.

Stalin looks for a takedown but Thrower sprawls well.
Thrower cracks Stalin with a hook to the temple - Stalin is on wobbly legs here! Thrower swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Stalin falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Thrower wins by TKO!
