Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jere Decker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Porter!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Porter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Decker's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Decker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Decker pulls Porter in to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Decker keeping full guard, as Porter tries to pass.
Decker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Porter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Decker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Porter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Decker keeps working.

Decker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Porter throws an elbow that misses. Decker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Porter's guard. Nice move by Decker!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Decker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jere Decker.
I think Decker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
