Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Screw Ewe (ranked 1501 p4p, 147 weight class) and Juan Corona (ranked 2094 p4p, 200 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Screw Ewe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juan Corona!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewe jabs Corona right on the nose. Corona blinks but takes it well.
Corona throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ewe counters with a straight right hand.
Corona blocks a jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Corona! But no joy.
Ewe scores with the left hand. Corona knows he should have avoided that one.
Ewe misses with a hook to the body
letting Corona counter with a right hand.
Ewe misses with an uppercut
and Corona cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ewe looks to land a left hand but Corona moved out of range nicely.
It seemed like Corona was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ewe, as that shot connected.
Corona throws out a loose jab but Ewe uses good head movement to avoid it.
A slow jab from Corona misses its intended target.
Corona misses with a straight right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Corona scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ewe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ewe slips under a jab from Corona.
Corona is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ewe.
An attempted straight right counter from Ewe misses the target.
Corona moves out of range of the strikes.
Corona walks into a jab.
Corona is rocked!
Ewe drops Corona with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ewe follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Screw Ewe!
