Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Lancaster (ranked 1422 p4p, 190 weight class) and Tyreke Mechanic (ranked 1608 p4p, 215 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lancaster might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Straight Outta Compton by NWA. Nick Lancaster had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mechanic counters with a straight right hand.
We've been told by Lancaster's head coaches at Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lancaster misses with a leg kick
and Mechanic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mechanic has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lancaster is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mechanic looks for a takedown but Lancaster sprawls well.
Mechanic takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mechanic blocks a low kick nicely.
Lancaster takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lancaster misses with a combination
enabling Mechanic to counter with a crisp jab.
Lancaster throws a sloppy body shot
and Mechanic counters with a left and a right that stings Lancaster.
Lancaster walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mechanic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mechanic cracks Lancaster with an open hand slap.
Lancaster throws a lazy uppercut
and Mechanic counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lancaster is breathing heavily.
Mechanic lands with a nice body punch.
A cross from Mechanic lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mechanic jabs Lancaster to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lancaster takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mechanic lands with a good body shot.
Mechanic shoots for a takedown but Lancaster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mechanic throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lancaster takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lancaster takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mechanic scores with a one two! Lancaster had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Lancaster avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mechanic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Lancaster is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mechanic is pawing at Lancaster, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lancaster's nose. Lancaster is badly hurt! Mechanic pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lancaster tries desperately to hold on but Mechanic is relentless in his assault! As Lancaster receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Mechanic away and this one is in the books!

Tyreke Mechanic gave a mention to Free Bands inc. in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
