Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antwan Carr (ranked 25390 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Zlatkov (ranked 6175 p4p, 660 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Antwan Carr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Zlatkov!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zlatkov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Carr looking for submissions off his back.
Carr is trying to control but can't.
Zlatkov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Carr manages to get to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zlatkov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Zlatkov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Zlatkov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carr is keeping the position for now.
Zlatkov is looking to pass into half guard but Carr pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Carr is in guard.

Zlatkov keeping moving, preventing Carr from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Zlatkov throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Carr postures up.
Zlatkov is controlling Carr's posture.
Carr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zlatkov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Zlatkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Zlatkov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Carr doesn't manage to clinch there - Zlatkov circles away.
Zlatkov misses the shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Zlatkov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Carr tries to buck Zlatkov off but Zlatkov is having none of it.
Zlatkov controls the position from side control.
Zlatkov looks winded!
Carr gets back to half guard.

Carr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Zlatkov is thwarting Carr's attempts to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zlatkov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zlatkov's back!
Zlatkov is trying to stand back up.
Carr throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Zlatkov wants to escape the position.
Carr lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Zlatkov hold on?!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Zlatkov wants to control his opponent's hands but Carr gets his hands free.
Carr misses with an elbow to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carr lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Zlatkov.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antwan Carr dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Carr fails in his attempt to clinch.

Carr gets a clinch.
Zlatkov pressing his opponent against the cage.
Carr is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Zlatkov keeps control of Carr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zlatkov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Carr uses from the top position.

Carr drops back looking for a leg! Zlatkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zlatkov manages to kick Carr off! Carr jumps back into Zlatkov's guard.
Carr is looking to work some ground and pound but Zlatkov has wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zlatkov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carr looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Zlatkov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carr wants to control from the top but Zlatkov keeps moving.
Zlatkov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zlatkov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Zlatkov is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Zlatkov pushes Carr off and gets back to his feet.
Zlatkov tries to clinch but Carr moves out of range.

Carr gets a takedown into half guard.
Carr is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Carr decides to stand and escape the position.
Carr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zlatkov paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Zlatkov looking to score a takedown here. Carr is defending well but Zlatkov drives through and ends up in Carr's guard.
Zlatkov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Carr has his hands on Zlatkov's head, controlling the position.

Carr has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zlatkov doesn't defend quickly enough and Carr has managed to lock this one up! Can Zlatkov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Carr on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Antwan Carr!
