The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nedkov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Johnston throws a combination that misses
and Nedkov counters with a nice body shot.
Johnston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nedkov moves into the clinch.
Johnston keeps control of Nedkov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Johnston jumps guard and drags Nedkov to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Johnston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nedkov lands a couple of digs.

Nedkov has gone for a leg lock! Johnston slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nedkov's guard.

Nedkov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
