The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedro throws a series of punches but Phoenix moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Pedro has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Pedro seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Phoenix tries to clinch up but Pedro pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Phoenix to the mat! Phoenix covers up and Pedro unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
