Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bison (ranked 1817 p4p, 209 weight class) and Donald Markham (ranked 3823 p4p, 408 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Bison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donald Markham!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bison misses with a low kick.
Bison stuffs the takedown.
Markham takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bison pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bison scores with a jab to the body.
Bison lands a lovely overhand right.
Markham misses with a takedown attempt - Bison sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bison looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bison throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Markham jabs at Bison's body.
Bison lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bison keeps the fight on the outside.
It appears Bison was looking to counter with a kick there.
Bison steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Markham.
Markham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Markham somewhat.
Bison fires out a quick counter leg kick but Markham just manages to avoid it.
Tony Bison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donald Markham.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Markham needs to keep his hands up - Bison had a free shot at his head there.
Bison delivers a nice body kick.
Nice body kick there by Markham.
Markham scoring well with a low kick there.
Markham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Markham misses with a looping left.
Markham tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bison manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tony Bison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Markham looks to score with a jab to the body but Bison is just out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Markham.
Bison thuds a left hand into Markham's body.
Markham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bison but Bison pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bison thinks about countering with a body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bison scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


Markham is rocked!
Bison digs a good body shot into Markham's ribs.
BOOM! Bison lands a beautiful left hook that drops Markham. Markham tries to recover but Bison is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Markham lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Bison!
