Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Meyer (ranked 4234 p4p, 418 weight class) and James Douglas (ranked 6868 p4p, 588 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Douglas tries to sprawl out of it but Meyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Douglas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Douglas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Meyer changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Douglas fails to land with a series of punches.
Meyer scores with a head kick.
Douglas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nice takedown defense from Douglas. No joy for Meyer on that attempt.
Meyer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Douglass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Douglas misses with a looping right.
The fighters circling - Douglas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Douglas moves into the clinch successfully.
Meyer tries to pull guard but Douglas forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Meyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Douglas misses with some punches.
Douglas presses Meyer against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Douglas lands a right hand that snaps the head of Meyer backwards.
Douglas scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Meyer is looking to break free of the clinch but Douglas has double underhooks.
Douglas wants to break free but Meyer has control.
Douglas fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Douglas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Douglas has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Meyer breaks the clinch.
Douglas is looking to clinch.
Douglas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Douglas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Douglas drops Meyer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Meyer looks back up at him and smiles so Douglas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Oscar Meyer has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Douglas has taken the fight to the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Meyer has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Douglas manages to break the clinch.
Douglas closes the distance but Meyer moves to the side

and Meyer counters with a crisp one two that drops Douglas! Meyer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Douglas to his feet! Douglas is in big trouble!

Douglas missing with a left hand there. Meyer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Douglas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Douglas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Meyer circles away quickly and effectively.
Meyer keeps the fight on the outside.
Douglas misses with a two punch combination.
Meyer slips under a jab from Douglas.
Meyer feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Douglas wants to clinch but Meyer slips to the side
and Meyer counters with a series of strikes. Douglas will be more careful next time no doubt.

Douglas forces Meyer back against the cage and clinches.
Meyer scores with a shot to the side of Douglas's head.
Meyer can't break the clinch.

Meyer jumps guard.
Douglas wants to get up but he can't break Meyer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Douglas stopping the sweep attempt from Meyer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meyer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Douglas wanted to stand there but Meyer had control of the position.
Meyer thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Meyer throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Douglas moves in looking to clinch but Meyer pushes him off.
Douglas closes the distance but Meyer moves to the side
and Meyer counters with a left and a right that stings Douglas.
Meyer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Douglas is fending him off so far but Meyer persists. Nope, Douglas circles away and we're back to standing.

A slow jab from Douglas misses its intended target.
Douglas digs a good body shot into Meyer's ribs.
Jab, jab by Douglas - just one landing.
Douglas scores with a nice strike.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Meyer! Douglas is out on his feet! Meyer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Douglas is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Douglas is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
