Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Van Rooy (ranked 2064 p4p, 43 weight class) and Hercules Fortier (ranked 2886 p4p, 110 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Rooy throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Hercules Fortier has been cut.
Fortier takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fortier has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fortier softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Van Rooy is out cold! Fortier jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

A relieved looking Hercules Fortier thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
