Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tytus Aleksy (ranked 5063 p4p, 503 weight class) and Kung Le (ranked 4974 p4p, 493 weight class). Tytus Aleksy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tytus Aleksy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kung Le!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aleksy tries to clinch but Le is having none of it.
Le let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Aleksy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Le swats away the attempt to clinch by Aleksy.
Tytus Aleksy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aleksy lands the left hand.
Aleksy slips a jab from Le.
Aleksy throws out a loose jab but Le uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aleksy throws a body punch but Le moves out of range.

Le gets tackled into the cage by Aleksy. Aleksy maintains the clinch.
Le scores with a nice hook to the head.

Aleksy breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Aleksy rushes Le and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Aleksy manages to break the clinch.
Le ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Aleksy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Le slows down the pace here.
Aleksy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Aleksy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Aleksy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Le swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Aleksy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Le bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Aleksy closes the distance and clinches.

Le has Aleksy pressed against the cage, preventing Aleksy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Le struggles to land a body shot inside as Aleksy controls his hands.

Le pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Le lets loose with a powerful body kick. Aleksy will feel that in the morning.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aleksy throws a looping overhand right but Le ducks down to avoid it.
A countering left hand to the body from Le misses.
Aleksy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Le gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Kung Le has been cut.
Aleksy misses with a hook. Le ducked under it nicely.
Aleksy fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aleksy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Le misses with a few strikes there.
Aleksy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Aleksy scores with a jab to the body.

Aleksy forces Le back against the cage and clinches.

Aleksy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Aleksy wants to break free but Le has control.
Le wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Le has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Aleksy seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Le can turn it around.
Aleksy tries to circle away but Le has him pinned against the cage.
Le tries to break free but Aleksy pushes him back against the cage.
Aleksy lands a good knee to the midsection. Le won't want to take too many of those.

Aleksy blocks an uppercut.
Le tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Le stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Le tries to work over Aleksy's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Aleksy lands a nice uppercut.

Le manages to break the clinch.
Aleksy lands a jab.

Aleksy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Le was well out of range. Poor timing from Aleksy.
Aleksy throws a looping overhand right but Le ducks down to avoid it.
Le keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tytus Aleksy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kung Le's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Le ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aleksy moves away.
Aleksy wants to clinch
and Le counters with a two punch combo.
Le avoids a punch combination nicely.

Le moves into the clinch.
Aleksy pushes Le back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Aleksy breaks the clinch.
Tytus Aleksy is winning the standup battle so far.
Le throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aleksy swings for the body but Le moves out of range.

Le has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Le there as he acknowledges the shot.


Le is rocked!
Aleksy scores with a nice right hand.
Le is still on wobbly legs! Can Aleksy finish him?
Aleksy throws an uppercut from hell that sends Le clean off his feet! He's out cold! Aleksy stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
