Johnson has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson trying to land knees to the body.

Our sources have told us that Ronaldo has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Ronaldo is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ronaldo has Johnson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ronaldo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Johnson tumbling to the mat - Ronaldo dives into Johnson's guard.

Ronaldo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ronaldo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ronaldo is trying to get an arm triangle but Johnson is defending well.

Johnson sneaks out the side door and pushes Ronaldo away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Johnson has managed to clinch.
Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Ronaldo avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage.

Ronaldo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Johnson regains guard.

Ronaldo wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Ronaldo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ronaldo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ronaldo, into his guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ronaldo looking for a triangle here. Johnson is fighting it but it looks tight! Ronaldo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Johnson is tapping out - this one is all over!
