The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dover, as that shot connected.
Dover lands with a straight right. Rose didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Miguel Rose has been cut.
Rose takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Dover stuns Rose with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dover connects with a single shot there.
Dover works the jab nicely.
Dover cracks Rose with a good jab.

Dover scores with a jab to the jaw.

Dover is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rose had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Dover lands with a hook. Rose tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Rose has his takedown stuffed
and Dover counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Jeez, Miguel Rose's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Dover defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rose.
Rose tries to move into range but Dover moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dover scores with a jab. Rose acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rose looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Dover feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rose sprawling to the canvas! Rose rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dover finish him?!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Miguel Rose's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Douglas Dover!
