Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobo Fernandez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Power Max!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez scores with a punch to the head.
Fernandez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Maxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fernandez sizes up Max with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fernandez staying out of range there.
Max is looking to clinch.
Max rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fernandez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fernandez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fernandez lands a lovely overhand right.
Max fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fernandez manages to avoid it.

Max decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Max thows a huge punch but Fernandez dodges it nicely.
Fernandez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Max takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Max stands up out of the half guard.
Max looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bobo Fernandez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Max shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fernandez napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Fernandez tries to bench press Max off him but Max keeps the position.
Max remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Max has an Americana. Fernandez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Max is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Max hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
