The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash looks to land a right hand but Akindamola moved out of range.
Akindamola unleashes a big counter combination but Smash bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Smash closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Akindamola quickly recovers to half guard.
