EMP 6 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Arvo Laar (ranked 7137 p4p, 707 weight class) and Vasilli Drakov (ranked 6646 p4p, 683 weight class). Laar comes to the cage accompanied by some random 90's estonia dance song i found on youtube. This should be fireworks!

In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 5 losses; Arvo Laar! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 3 losses; Vasilli Drakov!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Laar closes the distance and clinches.
Drakov has Laar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Laar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Drakov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Laar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Drakov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Laar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drakov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Laar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Drakov stacks Laar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Drakov!
