Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Antonio Camatta (ranked 482 p4p, 59 weight class) and Zander Harland (ranked 17321 p4p, 731 weight class). Harland has chosen We Don't Know as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 9 losses; Antonio Camatta! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 1 losses; Zander Harland!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Donald Grub.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Camatta shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harland manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Harland manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Camatta manages to get himself to full guard.

Harland is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Camatta is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Camatta has escaped and now he's on top!

Camatta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Camatta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

My spies in 3Band MMA ($800/week) inform me that Harland has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Harland might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Camatta haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
