Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Georgy Fokin (ranked 343 p4p, 56 weight class) and Greco Roman (ranked 9833 p4p, 866 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Greco Roman enters the cage!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 12 losses; Greco Roman!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Fokin rushes Roman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fokin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Roman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fokin tries for a takedown but Roman manages to get underhooks.

We've been hearing good reports from Fokin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Fokin is controlling Roman's trapped leg to prevent Roman from advancing to side control.
Roman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fokin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Roman wants to advance to full mount but Fokin doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Roman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fokin is pressing down on Roman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fokin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fokin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fokin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Fokin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roman is just riding it out for now. Fokin eventually gives up the hold.

Fokin sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Roman taps out!
