Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drake Dusk (ranked 1814 p4p, 235 weight class) and Jacques La Haine (ranked 2016 p4p, 254 weight class). La Haine has chosen Cut Killer - Nique La Police as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques La Haine!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Haine connects with the punch.

La Haine paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and La Haine connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
La Haine swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've been informed that La Haine has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Dusk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and La Haine defends well.

Dusk looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! La Haine has picked Dusk up and slammed him! Dusk can't keep hold of the triangle and La Haine manages to pass to side control!

Dusk is looking to regain half guard here but La Haine keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dusk gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

La Haine stands up and waves to Dusk to follow him.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from La Haine lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dusk has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dusk and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

La Haine comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
La Haine does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dusk throws a body punch but La Haine moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacques La Haine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


La Haine feints and then cracks Dusk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dusk down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dusk swings around for an armbar but La Haine sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dusk's guard.

Dusk is looking for a triangle here but La Haine uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

La Haine decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dusk to his feet.

Dusk was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
La Haine connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
La Haine lands a jab to the nose.

La Haine lands with a hook. Dusk tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dusk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from La Haine - the referee stops the clock and Dusk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says La Haine. Dusk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

I've got La Haine winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Jacques La Haine misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Drake Dusk stepped up to the mic, saying 'If Im HALF as good as ur wife says....Im twice as good as ur momma ever had....'.
