Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moloch Madakassan (ranked 5215 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Bushey (ranked 7811 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Bushey!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madakassan lands with a slapping head kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Madakassan.
Bushey misses with an uppercut.
Bushey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Madakassan ducks under a wild hook from Bushey.
Madakassan throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Adam Bushey has been cut.

Madakassan moves into the clinch.
Bushey is trying to break the clinch but Madakassan is controlling him.
Madakassan wants to take the fight to the mat but Bushey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Madakassan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Madakassan is trying to trip Bushey. He has hold of a leg but Bushey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Madakassan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Madakassan pushes down on Bushey's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Madakassan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Bushey is looking to escape.
We've been hearing that Madakassan has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Madakassan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Madakassan winds up and cracks Bushey with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Madakassan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Madakassan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bushey for as long as he can get away with.
Bushey is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Madakassan scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bushey is trying to control but can't.

Madakassan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bushey is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
