The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darrow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Irving manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Irving on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Irving walks into a stiff left hand from Darrow.

Darrow drives through and clinches with Irving against the cage.
Darrow lands a body shot in the clinch.

Irving's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Darrow has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hazzard County Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Irving has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Irving lands a left and a right that send Darrow crashing to the mat, dazed. Irving thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Darrow tries to move into range but Irving moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Darrow is rocked!
Irving weaves into range and cracks Darrow right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Darrow goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Irving is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

In his post fight interview, Kyrie Irving started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
