The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Em.

and Bravo counters with a shoot takedown. Em fights it but they end up in guard.

Em working for a triangle but Bravo defends it easily.
Bravo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Em has hold of Bravo's hands but Bravo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bravo grinds an elbow into Em's temple.
Bravo landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Bravo trying to control the action but Em is working from the bottom.
Bravo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
