Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wade (ranked 3576 p4p, 452 weight class) and Tyrano Jackson (ranked 2727 p4p, 353 weight class). Wade comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Hail Mary. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrano Jackson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson backs up against the cage.

It looks like Tyrano Jackson has been cut.
Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wade lands a jab to the nose.
Wade looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jab by Wade.
Wade misses with a double jab.
Jackson wants to counter the offense by Wade and move into the clinch position.
Wade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jackson gets caught napping as Wade dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson has momentary wrist control but Wade slips an elbow through the middle.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wade lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson backs up against the cage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Wade.
Wade feinted with a counter takedown.
Wade throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jackson on the side of the head.

Wade shoots in and gets a takedown into Jackson's guard.

Wade passes Jackson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wade is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wade passes to side control.
Wade sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jackson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Wade is working to tighten his grip on Jackson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jackson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wade is really squeezing tight and eventually Jackson passes out! Wade breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
