Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Augie (ranked 1383 p4p, 146 weight class) and Lucas Bane (ranked 1958 p4p, 207 weight class). DJ Augie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane throws out a leg kick but Augie moves out of range and Bane only half commits.

Bane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Augie defends well and Bane ends up having to push Augie into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Augie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bane sprawls well initially but Augie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Augie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

As Augie backs off Bane throws a huge counter combo but Augie manages to avoid it all.

That kick from Bane tenderised Augie's leg. Augie is trying to keep his angry face on.

I would just about give that final round to Lucas Bane.
Well Bane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
