PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eyeam Yurmommy (ranked 466 p4p, 19 weight class) and The Prophet (ranked 692 p4p, 32 weight class). Yurmommy comes to the cage accompanied by Peanut Butter Jelly Time - Galantis. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Yurmommy throws a hook but Prophet avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yurmommy. Prophet does a little dance to reset his feet.
Prophet stuffs the takedown attempt from Yurmommy. Yurmommy gets slowly back to his feet.

Prophet felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Yurmommy is nestled in close to Prophet, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yurmommy is pressing down on Prophet's thigh, looking to free his foot. Prophet is holding on for now.

A very excited looking Eyeam Yurmommy rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
