Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labosky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Labosky lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Paul Hewitt has been cut.
Labosky wants to clinch up but Hewitt keeps it at a distance.
Hewitt throws a right hand that misses
and Labosky counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hewitt scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Labosky misses the shot to the body.
Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch but Hewitt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Labosky goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Labosky tries a head kick but it misses.
Hewitt throws a hook but Labosky avoids it easily.

Hewitt catches Labosky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Labosky connects with a solid leg kick.
A jab from Hewitt misses.
Hewitt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Labosky sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Labosky steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hewitt.
Hewitt moves forwards but Labosky connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Labosky misses with a head kick.
Hewitt throws an off balance right hand
and Labosky counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Labosky falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hewitt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Labosky slips under a jab.
Labosky tries to clinch but Hewitt moves out of range.
Labosky walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hewitt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
An attempted straight right counter from Hewitt misses the target.
Hewitt misses with a body shot.
Hewitt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Labosky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hewitt scores with a nice strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Labosky tries to clinch but Hewitt is having none of it.
Labosky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hewitt is looking to counter punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hewitt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Labosky sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Labosky is trying to counter with his kicks.
Labosky just misses with a punch to the body.
Hewitt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hewitt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Labosky moves away.
Labosky swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hewitt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hewitt throws an overhand right that lands on Labosky's shoulder, as Labosky tries to avoid the shot.
Labosky wants to counter with a clinch but Hewitt pushes him away.
Labosky thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hewitt if he has to take too many more of those.
Hewitt scores with a nice head shot.
Labosky wants to clinch up but Hewitt keeps it at a distance.
Hewitt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Labosky.

Labosky looks to land a combination but Hewitt avoids it well.
Labosky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hewitt avoids the head kick by Labosky.
Hewitt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Labosky connects with the punch.
Labosky throws a head kick but Hewitt moves out of range.
A big left from Hewitt misses.

Labosky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hewitt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Labosky moves out of range of the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Labosky connects with a body shot that sends Hewitt's belly button to the back.
Labosky tries to clinch up but Hewitt circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hewitt counters with a three punch combo that has Labosky backing up. Labosky nods at Hewitt to acknowledge the strikes.
Labosky uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hewitt.

Are you kidding me?! Hewitt ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Labosky clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
