The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayete with a poor takedown

and Bravo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ayete looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bravo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ayete!
Ayete is in a horrible position here. Bravo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Majid Ayete has been cut.
Bravo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bravo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bravo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Ayete is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bravo postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ayete badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bravo around the waist but Bravo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bravo is the winner by TKO! Bravo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Bravo!
A relieved looking John Bravo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
