The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hobson.
Hobson throws a body shot but no joy.
Dos Santos feints the counter takedown.
Dos Santos has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hobson.
Dos Santos looks winded!
Hobson throws out a loose jab but Dos Santos uses good head movement to avoid it.
And Dos Santos tries to counter it with a takedown but Hobson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hobson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hobson fakes the body blow, causing Dos Santos to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Dos Santos goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
