The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Zabitsharipov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but House defends well and Zabitsharipov ends up having to push House into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zabitsharipov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
House wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
House scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A jab lands there for House.

House lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
House lands with an uppercut that bounces Zabitsharipov off the cage and back into range.
Zabitsharipov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zabitsharipov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and House cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Greg House has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasily Zabitsharipov.
Zabitsharipov misses with a takedown
and House counters with a straight right hand.
Vasily Zabitsharipov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zabitsharipov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. House tries to avoid it but Zabitsharipov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag House to the ground. House escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zabitsharipov moves forwards but House connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Zabitsharipov is rocked!
Zabitsharipov gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! House gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
