Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badou Baha (ranked 2084 p4p, 280 weight class) and Anthony Ellison Jr (ranked 3000 p4p, 393 weight class). Ellison Jr has chosen i aint never scared as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Badou Baha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Ellison Jr!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellison Jr on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ellison Jr tries to clinch but Baha moves out of range.
Baha scores with a decent looking hook.
Baha blocks a head kick by Ellison Jr.
Baha scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ellison Jr doesn't seem bothered though.
Ellison Jr tries to move into range but Baha moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ellison Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ellison Jr has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Baha throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ellison Jr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baha wants to get back to his feet.

Ellison Jr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baha is just riding it out for now. Ellison Jr eventually gives up the hold.
Baha keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baha pushes Ellison Jr off looking to stand but Ellison Jr dives back in and keeps control.
Ellison Jr is trying to control the action in half guard but Baha is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ellison Jr prevents Baha from standing back up.
Baha is holding on to half guard well.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ellison Jr throws a strike but Baha avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Baha on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baha tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Baha controlling the position.
Baha wants to stand up but Ellison Jr is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab from Baha finds it's way through Ellison Jr's defenses.
Ellison Jr defending well as Baha loads up on a big left hand.

Ellison Jr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Baha breaks the clinch.
Baha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ellison Jr walks into a left hand.
Ellison Jr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Baha.
Baha connects with the punch.
Ellison Jr wants to clinch.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Baha, as that shot connected.

Ellison Jr clinches up against the cage.

Baha manages to break the clinch.
Baha throws a series of strikes that have Ellison Jr backpedaling.
Baha misses with a few strikes there.
Baha misses with a straight left.
Baha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ellison Jr is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Ellison Jr pushes Baha up against the cage in a clinch.

Baha manages to break the clinch.

Baha lands a left and a right that send Ellison Jr crashing to the mat, dazed. Baha thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ellison Jr is rocked!

It looks like Anthony Ellison Jr has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ellison Jr bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Baha comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Ellison Jr falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Ellison Jr was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Badou Baha!
After the fight, Badou Baha was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Anthony Ellison Jr spoke after the fight, saying 'we'll get him next time'.
