Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Scarface (ranked 988 p4p, 121 weight class) and Mustapha Shiit (ranked 1243 p4p, 151 weight class). Scarface kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blinded By Lights. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Shiit looks to move away, Scarface throws a big counter combo but Shiit just gets out of the way.
The fighters circling - Shiit throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Shiit lands a two punch combo.
Shiit is trying hard to land a takedown here. Scarface sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Scarface has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

My spies in Big Bear Fight Factory inform me that Shiit has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
