The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wangmo throws a body punch but Alvarez moves out of range.
Wangmo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Alvarez wants to work for an arm triangle but Wangmo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

You get the feeling that Wangmo really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Alvarez has hold of Wangmo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wangmo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
