The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nathan wants to counter the offense by Kelly and move into the clinch position.
Kelly misses with a two punch combination.

Some bone on bone action there as Kelly checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Kelly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nathan manages to avoid it.

Kelly throws a big shot that misses.
Nathan feints a counter leg kick.
Kelly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nathan on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kelly tries to work over Nathan's front leg with a kick but Nathan checks it.

and Nathan counters with a body kick.
Kelly scores with a jab to the head.
Kelly connects with a single shot there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nathan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kelly appears to be looking for a big counter.
Nathan has closed the distance and engaged Kelly in a clinch.
Kelly can't find room to land a body shot as Nathan controls the action.

Nathan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Some bone on bone action there as Nathan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nathan. Kelly does a little dance to reset his feet.

And Nathan responds with a good body kick, but Kelly manages to step out the way in time.
Kelly shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nathan tries a quick counter leg kick but Kelly is wise to it.
