Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Izaiah Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jo Boo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane throws a hook to the side of Boo's head but Boo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kane stuffs the takedown.
Kane throws a wild body kick that Boo sees coming a mile off.
Kane sets himself, and Boo steps forward looking for the clinch! Kane avoids it this time.
Kane is looking to chop away at Boo's legs.
Kane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boo has time to react.
Kane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kane cracks Boo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Boo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kane throws out a loose jab but Boo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kane's corner calls for a 1-2. Kane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kane throws a leg kick which misses Boo's front leg but catches the back leg as Boo tries to avoid it.
Boo closes the distance and clinches up with Kane, looking for a takedown. Boo pushes Kane against the cage but Kane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kane displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boo.
Boo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kane defends well and Boo ends up having to push Kane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kane was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Boo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boo scrambles back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Boo persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.
Boo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The fighters circling - Kane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kane tries to avoid it but Boo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kane to the ground. Kane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kane misses with a low kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kane darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A clash of legs there as Boo blocks the low kick.
Boo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kane tries to avoid it but Boo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kane to the ground. Kane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kane throws a leg kick but Boo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boo can do to turn this around?
Kane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boo was well out of range. Poor timing from Kane.

Kane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kane wants it to stay on the feet.

Boo goes for a double leg but Kane avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kane continues to drive forward.

Boo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kane seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boo has hold of Kane's hands but Kane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Boo is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kane passes into side control, despite Boo's attempt to control the position.
Kane is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Boo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kane's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Boo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kane shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kane was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kane is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Boo's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Boo for as long as he can get away with.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Kane.

Boo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kane, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
