Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kruiz (ranked 2820 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tama Tonga (ranked 24907 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruiz comes to the cage accompanied by ZARILA KANDZE. Tonga has chosen Lockjaw as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruiz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tonga 's hands.
Tonga shoots in and gets a takedown into Kruiz's guard.
Kruiz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Tonga looking to sit in guard and control but Kruiz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tonga escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kruiz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tonga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kruiz is controlling the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kruiz in particular looking to stall.
Kruiz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kruiz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tonga has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kruiz uses his free foot to push down on Tonga 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tonga .
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kruiz is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tonga is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tonga flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kruiz anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tonga and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kruiz slips an arm under Tonga chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kruiz has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kruiz is squeezing on Tonga like an anaconda would it's prey. Tonga fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tom Kruiz!
After the fight, Tom Kruiz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Tama Tonga stepped up to the mic, saying 'Bruhhhhhh'.
